Eduard Hecht

"I am a Group Leader in Production at Temposonics as well as a technical trainer. Alongside my professional responsibilities, I successfully completed a part-time degree in Mechatronics, further strengthening my technical expertise and leadership skills. I am responsible for more than 40 employees as well as the technical apprenticeship training within the company. Throughout my part-time studies, Temposonics always provided excellent support. Time off for exams was approved whenever needed, even during challenging periods, and my supervisor always took the time to support me and address my concerns. The knowledge I gained during my studies has proven highly valuable in my daily work and can be applied directly in practice. The flexible working hours model made it much easier to balance learning and personal commitments. Of course, combining work and studies also brought mental challenges, but the flexibility to manage my own deadlines helped me reduce stress significantly. Completing my degree has clearly paid off. I notice it especially through my increased resilience, expanded technical expertise, and strengthened leadership skills. Since graduating, I have been investing my new knowledge and full commitment into my work at Temposonics."

"I work in the Finance and Accounting department at Temposonics.During my previous apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk at Temposonics (formerly MTS Sensor Technologie), I had the opportunity to work independently from an early stage. At the same time, I could always rely on the support of my colleagues whenever I had questions, which allowed me to gain insight into the wide range of responsibilities within the profession. What I especially appreciated was the opportunity to get to know all departments within the company. As an apprentice, you not only gain experience in the typical commercial departments, but also in production. This provides a valuable understanding of how an order is processed — from incoming order to shipment of the finished product. It also helps you discover which department suits you best and which career path you would like to pursue after completing your apprenticeship. This practical experience was also a great advantage in vocational school, as it allowed me to connect the theoretical knowledge learned in class with real-world applications within our company. Temposonics also gave me the opportunity to complete a stay abroad, where I was able to improve my English skills while gaining insight into an international company environment. In addition, it was a great chance to get to know classmates from vocational school better and build new connections. After successfully completing my apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk in 2019, I was offered a permanent position in the Finance and Accounting department."

"At the end of June 2021, I successfully completed my apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist at Temposonics.Since I had already gained experience in this field beforehand, I decided to pursue this apprenticeship. During my training, I had the opportunity to get to know several departments, such as work preparation as well as customs and export. However, my main responsibilities focused on logistical processes within the warehouse and production areas. Alongside my practical training, I attended vocational school in Hagen twice a week to learn the theoretical aspects of the profession. What I especially appreciate about working at Temposonics is the trust placed in me from the very beginning, which allowed me to work independently at an early stage. As a result, I quickly became an integral part of the team and am always able to support my colleagues whenever needed. After successfully completing my apprenticeship at the end of June 2021, I was offered a permanent position at Temposonics. My main responsibility currently is ensuring the smooth material flow between our two locations in Lüdenscheid. In addition, I am responsible for warehouse maintenance and organization. I can also see myself continuing my professional development in the future, for example by completing a master craftsman qualification."

"In 2024, I successfully completed my apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk at Temposonics.During my apprenticeship, I worked in various departments throughout the company, which allowed me to develop a strong understanding of internal processes and workflows. It was especially beneficial that I was assigned to the Sales Support department six months before completing my apprenticeship and completed my final project both there and in the Customs & Export department. This made the transition into my current position much easier. After completing my apprenticeship, I was offered a permanent position in Sales Support. My responsibilities include preparing quotations, processing customer orders, and coordinating with customers as well as internal departments such as Engineering and Production. What I value most about my current role is the level of personal responsibility. I have the opportunity to make many decisions independently and develop my own solutions, which helps me grow both professionally and personally. At the same time, I work within a very supportive and collaborative team environment where colleagues always help one another. Temposonics provides me with an environment where I can work independently while continuously developing my skills and experience."

"In the summer of 2024, I successfully completed my apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems at Temposonics.I was especially pleased to be offered a permanent position immediately after completing my apprenticeship, and today I am part of the Internal Repair team as an Electronics Technician. During my apprenticeship, I had the opportunity to get to know many different areas within the company. This gave me valuable insight into internal processes and showed me how diverse the work at Temposonics really is. Since the beginning of 2024, I have been working exclusively in Internal Repair. My responsibilities include fault analysis and repair of sensors, working with circuit diagrams, and supporting production with technical questions. In addition, I assist with development projects and support the assembly of prototypes. The tasks are highly varied, and there is always something new to learn. What I particularly appreciate is the combination of teamwork and independent working. I can exchange ideas with my colleagues at any time, receive support whenever needed, and at the same time independently manage my own tasks and projects. Alongside my work, I am currently studying Electrical Engineering part-time at the University of Applied Sciences in Hagen. This allows me to combine theory and practical experience in the best possible way. The working atmosphere at Temposonics is very positive — you are welcomed into the team, work together on equal terms, and quickly feel like part of the company. For me, the variety of tasks and the opportunity for continuous professional and personal development are especially important. I am happy to be part of the company and look forward to continuing to grow both professionally and personally:"

"I am currently in my second year of training as an Industrial Clerk at Temposonics. What I especially enjoy is being involved in a variety of projects — from career fairs and planning the company run to helping shape our career page. This means that no two days are the same, and it gives me the opportunity to contribute my own ideas right from the beginning. My apprenticeship mentor, Jonas, supports me throughout my training, helps me whenever I have questions, and is always there to offer advice and guidance. Another great opportunity is the Erasmus+ program offered by ESBK. Temposonics enabled me to participate and also provided financial support for the experience. I spent three weeks in Dublin — one week at college and two weeks completing an internship at an agency. During this time, I gained many new experiences and learned how to better understand and communicate with different English accents and dialects, which is very valuable in everyday professional life. What I enjoyed most was the first week at college, as it also gave me the chance to explore the beautiful city of Dublin and the surrounding areas."

"I am currently in the first year of my apprenticeship. So far, I have had a very positive experience at Temposonics. All colleagues in the departments I have worked in so far have been very friendly and supportive, which made me feel welcome and comfortable very quickly. I also really appreciated the start of my apprenticeship and the onboarding process. Everything was explained clearly, and I received excellent guidance from the very beginning. Overall, I feel very well supported. The training coordinator is always approachable and available to help with any questions. In addition, the monthly feedback meetings are extremely helpful for personal and professional development. Another aspect I value highly is the structured training plan and the opportunity to work in many different departments. This makes the apprenticeship very diverse, exciting, and interesting. We also attend vocational school at ESBK twice a week, and it is a great advantage that the company covers the related costs, such as school books and materials. In addition, there are excellent chances of being offered a permanent position after completing the apprenticeship. On top of that, employees receive holiday and Christmas bonuses, and the apprenticeship salary is based on the IG Metall collective agreement."

"I have been working at Temposonics since 2016. My professional career began in Production, where I gained extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and daily operations. In December 2020, I additionally took on responsibility as a Team Leader, which allowed me to further develop my organizational and interpersonal skills. For the past three years, I have been working in the commercial area of the Repair Department. A key part of my role is preparing and processing quotations, as well as tracking and managing them after customer approval. In addition, I am responsible for final settlements and credit notes and serve as a contact person for customer inquiries. My experience in Production and my previous leadership role enable me to effectively connect technical and commercial processes. Temposonics offers its employees the opportunity for continuous professional development while supporting individual strengths. I have personally experienced these development opportunities and truly value them."

Jonas Dickschat

"I am the Head of Customs and Export Operations at Temposonics. In 2012, I began my apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk at Temposonics (formerly MTS Sensor Technologie). From an early stage, I knew that my professional future would be in the commercial field. What particularly attracted me to the apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk were the many different opportunities and career paths it offered. The wide range of tasks — from Purchasing, Production Planning, Marketing, and Finance & Accounting to Sales — was especially interesting to me. Another aspect worth highlighting is the familiar and welcoming atmosphere within the company. Temposonics provides an environment that not only allows personal and professional growth, but actively encourages it. After completing my apprenticeship, I was offered a position as a Specialist in Customs and Export Operations. Our team is responsible for the documentation and processing of freight for international business transactions. At the same time, I attended university for three years alongside my job in order to further expand my professional expertise through part-time studies. Temposonics supported and encouraged me in many ways right from the beginning. After three years as a Specialist, I was given the opportunity to take over the management of Customs and Export Operations, including responsibility for the entire department and export team. I truly enjoy this role and take great pride in it. I value being part of a modern company where I not only have the opportunity to contribute ideas and drive change, but also to actively implement improvements and innovations."

"I work in the field of Quality Assurance. Temposonics is a market leader in its industry, and one of the key reasons for this success is the high quality of its products. To maintain these standards, it is essential that only high-quality components that meet Temposonics specifications are used. My role is to ensure exactly that. Depending on the product, I carry out random inspections to verify that all specifications and technical drawings are being followed correctly. All measurement results are documented in a CAQ software system. If defective parts are identified, they are blocked and reported immediately. However, I was not always part of the Quality Assurance department. I started my career at Temposonics in 2015 as a Production Employee in the SE department, where the core component of all sensors is manufactured. During this time, I had the opportunity to learn everything about the assembly of sensor elements. It quickly became clear to me that I wanted to broaden my horizons and continue developing within the company. For this reason, I decided to complete a part-time qualification as a Quality Representative alongside my daily work. Despite the challenges of balancing work responsibilities and language barriers, I successfully achieved this goal. Temposonics supported me throughout this journey by offering German language courses to improve my language skills. Immediately after completing my qualification, I was offered the ideal position where I could apply my newly acquired knowledge effectively. I remain highly motivated to continue developing within Temposonics, which is strongly encouraged by the company. Through my professional journey at Temposonics, I have learned that everyone can be supported and given opportunities to grow — regardless of their language or background — as long as they show genuine commitment and motivation."
